MEA supports IndianOil’s BD Group Training on POL Marketing

Business Development Group of IndianOil organised recently a five-day training programme on ‘Operations of Product Terminals and Depots’ under the aegis of India - Africa Forum Summit – II, funded by Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India. The programme, conducted at IndianOil Institute of Petroleum Management (IiPM), Gurgaon, was inaugurated by Mr. Amresh Kapoor, ED (Regional Services), NR. Mr. Ashwani Sharma, ED (BD), CO, welcomed the participants.

During the residential training programme, nine African Nationals from Mozambique, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia, presently working for their respective Oil Ministry and National Oil Companies were imparted training in different functions of POL Marketing. Besides class room sessions, the participants were also taken for field visits to Gurgaon Bottling Plant (BP), Delhi Terminal, Palam AFS, Asaoti Lube Blending Plant, a model LPG Distributorship in Gurgaon and two modern Retail Outlets in Delhi.
