IndianOil has been adjudged the 2nd ‘Best Company in Public Sector in India’ by the annual survey conducted by the Great Place to Work (GPW) Institute, India and The Economic Times. This is one of the well recognised and definitive ‘Employer-of-Choice’ and ‘Work Place Quality’ recognition surveys in India.

TThe evaluation was done through administering a survey questionnaire directly amongst the employees to check the HR health and also on the basis of ‘People Practices Inventory’, submitted by HR group. GPW institute arrives at a Trust Index score considering these two parameters and the organisations are ranked based on their Trust Index Score.

IndianOil has been ranked 59th in the overall survey conducted by the Institute during 2014-15. It has improved its position by one notch compared to last year.

Mr. Verghese Cherian, Director (HR), received the GPW certificate on behalf of IndianOil on August 4, 2015 from the representatives of the GPW institute, Mumbai.
